“El que halla su vida, la perderá…”. Con esta idea inagotable de fondo recibimos el nuevo EP de My Dear Flotsam. Desde la composición de este trabajo, un vivo campo de batalla personal, ideológico y emocional, hasta su sonido lleno de texturas y exploración interior, asistimos al crecimiento de la vida en los ámbitos más extremos del espíritu humano. Inner Wars admite y contiene, porque no hay por qué ocultarlos, las heridas, miedos y contradicciones a las que cualquier artista se enfrenta con cada paso en su carrera y búsqueda de una propia voz. Pero también, siguiendo la frase universal de Jesús de Nazaret, está presente una verdad que esta banda ha experimentado (dejando de lado la ambigüedad de una, a menudo aburrida, abstracción): cuando uno se abandona a sí mismo, descubre que ha sido encontrado, y no al contrario. El resultado de este “encontrarse”, como ocurre en toda gran historia clásica, termina en celebración y en una maravillosa y extraña libertad.

Trabajan desde sus casas. Sin verse, por lo menos, no tanto como les gustaría.Indie transmediterráneo.

Su primer trabajo publicado “Manalive” (Tsunami Records, 2011) recorrió los escenarios nacionales, pasando por los conciertos de Radio 3, la Razzmatazz o el Cultura Club, llegando a telonear a Fanfarlo, We are Scientists o Love of Lesbian y formando parte de carteles como el Sonorama, Heineken ó el 2+2.
